What is Eighty6Prime all about?
As some of you know, I’m an avid fan of cinema, pop culture, classic video games, comic books, sports and a variety of other topics such as food, travel, the outdoors, current events, diets and so on. I’m also an active collector and I’m always continuing to build my collection which currently includes over eight thousand movies, eleven custom Lava Lamps, a classic 1982 Ms. Pac-Man machine, vintage comic books, premium hockey cards, custom guitars, custom jerseys as well as many other awesome and hard to find items.
Given my interest in a variety of subjects as well as my hobby of collecting, I’ve created a YouTube channel (Eight6Prime), a podcast (PrimeTime) and a blog profile on Medium that will feature reviews, rankings, interviews, and discussions on all of my favourite topics.
I love online platforms such as YouTube and others that encourage fans to rank, review and discuss their opinions on any subject. I love the passion and conviction that the online community has. On my podcast, YouTube channel and blog profile, no subject is off-limits. I’m not going to limit the area of focus in any way. As an example — one week — I might feature a review on a new film I just saw or alternatively the following week, the subject might be on the topmost livable cities in the world. Bottom line, any topic or subject is open for opinions and discussion.
To this end, what I’m really interested in, is opening up the dialogue with YOU regarding your thoughts, rankings and reviews on these topics. I love hearing opinions and feedback from others. It helps me gain new perspectives that I may not have considered or thought about previously. Please remember that these videos, podcasts and blog postings are simply my opinions, and not necessarily fact. Let’s keep a positive atmosphere with a strong level of respect.
